Centrifugal separation principle:
Centrifugal separation utilizes the dynamic principle where diverse densities in liquid and solid phases within a mixed fluid remain insoluble, thereby achieving varying sedimentation velocities under the influence of centrifugal forcefield, effectively enabling them to separate and stratify, thereby accomplishingthe critical objective of settling solid particles from the liquid.
This method of centrifugal separation is a purely physical process, superbly adept at managing
liquid-solid, liquid-liquid, and liquid-liquid-solid separations, especially whentwo-phase density differences are minimal, or solid particles are small, wheregravity sedimentation alonecannot suffice.
